June 25th, 2009. What happened that day? Something monumental. Come on. I know you know this. Was it the end of the war in Iraq? Did Israel say “peace”? Nope. Not even close. Michael Jackson died.
Sorry, but your not going to get much sympathy from me on his passing. Not saying that he was not an entertaining singer and artist, but along with The Rolling Stones, I view Michael Jackson as one of the most overrated musicians of all time. Ohhhh…did I just upset anyone? If I did, well then I am most definitely, NOT SORRY.
Just like most of you I grew up listening to MJ. When my folks bought me my first Walkman, they purchased me two tapes with it, “Thriller” and “Purple Rain”. I liked “Purple Rain” more. (more…)

The Anatomy of a Great Horror Movie
Tis the soon to be season to scream! Yes yes my favorite holiday, Halloween. It gets me in the mood to talk about the movies I love, horror movies. There has not been a really good horror movie come out in awhile. There is some promise though. The new HALLOWEEN by Rob Zombie is dropping next weekend. Also on the “revamp” headlines, there is going to be a new NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET!!!!! That’s right boys and girls…..1,2 Freddy coming for you, 3,4 better lock your door, 5,6 grab a crucifix 7,8 better stay up late, 9,10 never sleep again. Now the big news.
